Neighbourhood House Week (NHW) is celebrated annually by neighbourhood houses across Metro Vancouver. It is a time when everyone connected to and impacted by a neighbourhood house comes together share stories, make connections and celebrates the impact of the Neighbourhood House Movement!
A neighbourhood house is a space where people can take part in programs and services that are tailored to the needs of the community. Everyone from youth to seniors, newcomers to long-time residents belong at their local neighbourhood house. Here with your neighbours, you can connect, engage and grow.
This year NHW takes place between May 1-7, and we invite you to celebrate with us at Neighbourhood House Impact: Community Creates Belonging - a virtual event celebrating Neighbourhood House Week 2022 on May 4, 6-7:30pm. Together we will connect, share and celebrate - tickets are free, all are welcome, RSVP by May 2.
