Our Neighbourhood houses, camp and central office operate on the traditional, ancestral and stolen territories of the Coast Salish people including the Musqueam, Squamish, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, Tsleil-Waututh, Kwikwetlem, Tsawwassen and Sto:lo Nations.

With Indigenous family programs, art workshops, the Indigenous Youth Employment Program and more, ANHBC strives to create spaces for Indigenous families in our communities, as well as encourage our neighbours to engage in the dialogue of decolonization and inclusion.  Find a neighbourhood house near you!

As an organization that has navigated over 125 years of Canadian history, we recognize the importance of listening, learning and acting as allies to our community members. As we learn about our history, and complicity in the oppression of Indigenous People, we strive to make positive changes within our organization and neighbourhoods we serve. At ANHBC, we are committed to Truth and Reconciliation, decolonization and anti-racism.
