Our Neighbourhood houses, camp and central office operate on the traditional, ancestral and stolen territories of the Coast Salish people including the Musqueam, Squamish, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, Tsleil-Waututh, Kwikwetlem, Tsawwassen and Sto:lo Nations.
With Indigenous family programs, art workshops, the Indigenous Youth Employment Program and more, ANHBC strives to create spaces for Indigenous families in our communities, as well as encourage our neighbours to engage in the dialogue of decolonization and inclusion. As an organization that has navigated over 125 years of Canadian history, we recognize the importance of listening, learning and acting as allies to our community members.
